Matching trigger/receiver numbers.
Bolt parts match but do not match the trigger/receiver numbers.
8345 carved into the side of the stock
Looks like it has the duffel cut. Family says it was liberated from a concentration camp?
It has what appears to be a 1/2” number 8 or two circles stamped into the stock on the bolt handle side.

Any idea of what this thing might be worth.IMG_4405.JPGIMG_4406.JPGIMG_4408.JPGIMG_4410.JPGIMG_4411.JPGIMG_4412.JPG

You have IMO a "sporter rescue". The base action is from Mauser Oberndorf and appears correct.
Stock is wartime production but postwar marked and is not original to action.

Could you please provide a link for terminology, ie sporter rescue, mix matcher, etc
Thank you. There is a ton of info on here but I have to pull the trigger, so to speak, quickly
Thanks again

To make it simple, whoever is trying to sell it to you is either lying or misinformed. The stock is not original to the rest of the rifle and some of the other parts came from other rifles. It would most likely make a nice rifle for shooting but has little monetary value to collectors.

It's an original wartime rifle produced by the Mauser Oberndorf facility in 1938. The bolt is an original k98 bolt it appears, though not original to the rifle. Sporter rescue is when someone took a K98 bring back trophy and cut down/reshaped the original stock to make a hunting/sporter rifle THEN at some point an original "type" stock was refitted to it to make it back to military configuration. The stock in question appears to be a post war Yugo refurbed piece. Mixmaster is a rifle with many different parts non-original to the rifle.
