These are somewhat scarce. Even though sometimes you can end up with more than one. Got lucky. I wanted to photo all three sets before I sold one set off. Zeiss code change is listed in Nov.44 Their code was blc from 41 on.. These are black painted with non slip body. Blue triangle for cold weather use. No range grid.

Bino bug

Nice set... the bino bug bit me about 2 years ago...you see a lot of the 10 power RLNs but not these 6 power ones.

I know

I found one..then two then three !! I thoought they were scarce,, I want to find a set of the later version which has the smooth body silver blue paint. I have seen one set for sale and they had some bogus ss markings on them.. One set came in a late pleather black zeiss case. I will post soon..

I see them often enough on ebay. I had a set of 10x50's with the blue smooth paint. I've heard though that the ones with coated optics are postwar production, not sure how to tell though.

Zeiss

Well, thats where these three sets came from. Zeiss is one of the war time companies that must of saved all their records. There isnt a pair of glasses you cant date. From 1800's---present.

Hello! Will bump old thread. Maybe anybody can help with how much binoculars in such condition can cost nowdays?
Optics is clean (I would say it's perfect), no dust, mechanics is smooth
Thank you

that's a nice set.. Last variant with the silver/blue paint. The more I look the more I find. Funny how that works. I would say in that condition around 200.00 usd. As I missed a set recently and that's what they sold for. The also made a monocular as well.
