Awaiting GB listings from Poulin auction

Craig, my point exactly. Exploiting the data on our forum and from our books to then remarket to the masses.
It does tend to make one want to puke...lol.
Unfortunately probably not the last either. As Craig has said it's both a sign of a healthy hobby and a pariah as it seems they're in a race to eat themselves. "How high can I possibly ask for this"

Another one of Hams favorites is the drive-by valuation guy. Not as big of a deal depending on how he played it coming in. Not the comedic value of a Shooter Ike montage but whatever.

At least he could have put the rear band on correctly. Never mind. Thanks.

Should a JP Sauer stock have an Imperially proofed cross bolt? Looks like threaded side has seen sandpaper.

It's a re-work, so I don't think it matters. Never mind on my previous comment. You probably would find no two alike and very little info. here. Just my opinion. Also, easy to fake.

Geese hunter is top bidder I see. That guy has bought so many K98ks especially off of grey blanket whether good or bad. Now I see he found CWA. Can't be a forum member. That guy has some deep pockets it seems.

I swear some of these 'buyers' on GB HAVE to be mentally ill or have some type of developmental defect. There's no way this can even be an accident. Just throwing stupid money on one bad gun after another. I'm guessing ZERO research, no fact checking... nothing. Ugg hit bid button. Not talking about that bidder specifically but there is definitely a trail of guys who WAY overpaid for hot trash over the last few years.

Hope this "train wreck" stays below 1.00!!
What a pile of crap..but a fool and his money.

That's quite the steamer bean. It's a joke turd and boy is he polishing it hard with that carnival barking ad. Too bad for the lucky "winner" of this thing. It needs to be featured with its own turd alert.

Is there a 'CollectibleK98sWithIssues' sub-Reddit? :ROFLMAO: I ask because I wonder how these NR guys find out about them? Also because in at least one case fairly recently the account was made only hours after the rifle was listed and of course the first thing the brand new shill (I mean bidder) did was bid on THAT rifle. Next day another brand new NR account and you guessed it... he HAD to bid on that rifle. Nothing to see there.

He got a couple more NRs activated. Man this guy attracts these bidders like flies to shite.
If he’s got “NR” bidders and “new” bidders and low feedback bidders who buy things like a couple used AR mags for $9 and a used bore snake and a used aftermarket Glock mag, then suddenly they are bidding $3500 for a humped K98k? IMHO that looks uh, suspicious. Is this the dealer who bought up all of the Poulin rifles?

Please follow the auction of this turd, screenshot the salient features of the auction showing it to be a turd and the seller. Then, when the auction closes and there is a “winner”, screenshot that “bidder” list. I suspect what we will see, as with most of these, is there will be an obvious break at the reasonable retail price range of bidding by obviously legitimate bidders, then the NR, “new” and low/sparse feedback suspicious bidding kicks in. A good bit of the market manipulation is just that, artificial and fraudulent prices and bidding to artificially drive the market up for the short term profits of these “dealers.”

This will kill our hobby as much as humping. Ironically, many of the humped rifles have their prices driven up the same way. It’s hard for me to conceive of a legitimate bidder who has $3500 to blow on an obvious turd yet is so stupid. We need to start documenting all of this with screenshots, not simply links that die in 90 days. These are all simply my humble opinions.
