    New to the forum and k98’s can you tell me what I have

    I inherited a k98 recently. I am very familiar with firearms in general, but not much on the k98 Mauser. This is a family heirloom, my grandfather’s uncle brought it back during ww2, so I have no intention of selling. But I would like to know more about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
