Help please on value of a WW2 german helmet shell, no liner.

I painted the shell because it had rusted inside and out and there was no paint left on it. Would you put a rusted helmet shell on top of your gun cabinet or a shell that looks somewhat like the helmet sergeant Schultz would have worn?

Help please on value of a WW2 german helmet shell, no liner.

My father brought this helmet home when he returned after serving in WW2 and after many years of neglect and my bothers playing with it, I decided to repaint it. The liner had long dissapeared by the time I got to it. In its present condition, what might be the non collector value of this...

Has anyone seen this proof or stamping on inside of bolt handle?

This bolt was on a Haitian ARMEE D'HATTI FAB NAT D'ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE 30-06. I don't think it belongs on this rifle. All parts of the bolt match, but it does not match the SN of the rifle. The stamp is on the bottom of the bolt handle. If someone can ID this bold it would be...

So, do you feel the stock is original to the rifle, aside from the varnish job?

Would a Mauser rifle stamped STANDARD-MODELL 1924 BE military or civilian?

When in complete rifle configuration, would a Mauser rifle stamped on the side with STANDARD-MODELL 1924 BE military or civilian or both. On the top of the receiver is stamped with the Mauser banner over 1933. What might the value of just the stripped receiver only with such markings in good...

What would be a fair price for a pre-war stripped Mauser receiver?

I've searched and can not find any threads anywhere that have sold mauser receivers. If the receiver is stamped on top with 42 over 1939, and on the side it reads Mod 98, no pitting above or below the wood line, finish is pretty decent and has the swastika eagle thingy stamped. what would be a...

Could I please get some help with the date on this BRNO Mauser?

Thanks for that link Stan. It was interesting reading. So, E (LION) 23 was stamped on the side of the rifle, does this mean the rifle is a VZ23 and also the year on Mfg is 1923? I have included more photos of the sling. I couldn't believe it when I saw that the guard screws were also stamped...

Could I please get some help with the date on this BRNO Mauser?

I just pulled this BRNO out from underneath my bed. I'm not having any luck figuring the date on this rifle. Is there a code or something I'm missing? Also, does the sling pictured appear to be correct for this model? And is the stock correct? All numbered parts are the same, except the...
