Is it worth trying to look for parts and rebuild or is it too much in a bad shape? I see some Kar98 at the GB.com going for $650 to 900 and up of course. so I guess better find a decent one at the GB

with the serial number can you approx the manufacturing date? After the war soldiers had to return them and folks messed with them Kar in order to keep them as hunting rifle
