Sorry to bring up an old post, but when I read the thing about focus rings, I remembered some old pictures I just saw These pictures show german snipers with scopes that have focus rings All I wanted to point out was that focus ring doesn't equal post WWII :-)

I've asked around, and so far I've been told my scope is a post war Ajack, that have received upgraded front lens, because the front lens has a blue glow. Some say that it might have been for the Swedish M41/B. I'm curious to know more. What can you tell me (everything) Also, I was wondering...

Would you say this was build as a sniper or is it just a regular 98K fitted with a scope? (This one is for sale from the same company as the scope)

...as i wrote, i was considering buying one... Seen one for sale at a respected dealer in my country. Edit: Here's a picture of the one I'm talking about. They claim it's original, I'm far from an expert.
