It looks nice but the finish looks... off? I wonder what his k98 stocks look like, couldn't find any examples on his site. I may need one and I have heard PPHU Fox's have been having trouble getting into the US.
It had several low feedback or NR bidders, which doesn't surprise me because people with experience collecting or researching milsurp probably wouldn't pay 1k for this. For like 700-850 it would be a nice shooter though tbh, regardless of it being humped up.

Suspicious looking serial numbers all around, especially the safety lever which looks like it was ground off at one point. I've also never seen the rifle SN stamped in the stock like that before.
Haven't heard anything but their website has a lot of FG parts on it now, so it seems like they are starting to produce parts in the US. I'm curious what the price will be. I'm considering just not buying the SMG one I've been waiting for almost four damn years for and buying D-K's.
I'm of the same opinion. I'm still gonna buy the rifle when the time comes because it is beautiful and no one else makes them (for now), but i'm tired of the estimates like we got earlier this year "it'll be a month or two" etc, and nothing ever materializes with zero communication. Surely at...
Did you get one of the waffenmeister mounts? I had the same problem with those. Ended up picking up a real Czech military mount, it works brilliantly. There is one listed on gunbroker with scope/bands for $850 right now, not a terrible price.
Thanks for the info. I thought they blued all of the lacquered rifles first, then sand blasted, and finally apply lacquer. I find it interesting that they are doing final assembly on the lacquered rifles first.
