Nice rifle. I have one of the FN .22 trainers, mine has nice metal, but the stock has been there and done that. Very accurate rifle.

Just picked this one up. Only thing Turked is the bolt. Appears to have the 05 modifications, but the magazine cover is marked 1914. Put 20 rounds of PPU through it, no issues shot well. This makes a nice companion for my 1890 Danzig that is still clip fed.

Update. I noticed this when I went to the range this morning: Now I need to figure out where Bann 70 was located.

Here's the replacement barrel I bought. Need to find someone to install it.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is an SA rifle? I bought the replacement 88/05 barrel from someone who specializes in GEW 88 parts. A barrel change may be easy, but it is something I'll leave to a professional.

It has the original numbers matching barrel. The .314 is the ring/obstruction diameter. The slug fell out half way through the barrel.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I bought it from Empire Arms. Price was good, and I'm sure to be the only one at the range with one.

Picked this up late last year for the price of a Turked example. All matching except for the bolt, the the last 2 numbers of it match the rest of the rifle. The only modification I see is the "S" mark. It chambers a 8x57JS dummy round. Unfortunately, someone put a ring in the barrel. I slugged...

I just picked up this Weihrauch .22 rifle. All the examples I have seen online have a full military stock. Mine has a sporter front end, but looks too well done to be Bubba'd. Did they come from the factory this way?
