Thanks for the response, the rcvr and barrel shroud have the same sn 1145, I will get some better pics later of the barrel. I like building of these old guns, and have done with a couple of old arisaka t38 and t99, m1903 Springfield, and a couple of Turkish mausers. Anybody can buy a gun...

Any have or know of where one can buy a stock for a kar88 rifle? The barrel is 28" long and the rcvr has Schuller suhl 1891 with an s. The barrel shroud has been cut back. Thanks for any help you guys can give.
