My fist mauser and barrel questions. UPDATED Hello folks, I have more photos now and some more strange marks. I have also sendt the photos to Kongsberg armoury that re-chamberd and put new marks on the mausers after the war. And they said none of the marks are norwegian, so im not getting any...

I see. Is yours the type that is converted to 30-06 and has all the serial numbers scratched over? Would stripping the stock to bear wood and then a cupple of layers with BLO be the best way to get it back to original?
