    G43 made by bcd

BCD's are not only the scarcest version of these weapons...They are unique in that they incorporate all the earliest features...The threaded muzzle, the un-notched scope rail, the earliest gas cylinder and rods, the bolt carrier without the reinforcing web etc... I consider them more...

    G43 made by bcd

Winchester...respectfully, that's just s HORRIBLE idea. IMHO the rifle in question is worth $3500. Putting it in a repro stock would decrease the value to $2200 at best...and that's after spending several hundred dollars for a repro stock. If the original stock is as bad as people say (which it...

    G43 made by bcd

Maybe it's because I have only been viewing with my phone thus far....but it doesn't appear that any sort of finish has been applied.

    G43 made by bcd

It seems that whenever a picture of any G43 is posted, there is a mad scramble to be first out of the gate to condemn the condition of the stock. The standard that all pieces must measure up against is, of course, the proverbial ac45, rail-car captured, d-block, with chatter marks like the...

    1943 Walther duv G41 (w) 7.92 All Matching Rifle

Not sure we can call it all matching. I really doubt there was much crossover between BLM and Walther as far as supplying of parts.

    K43 Qve 45

Prices have softened a bit on g/k43's. I wouldn't sell it at all in this market.

    K43 Qve 45

    3.5k - 4k fair price I'd say. If I owned it, I wouldn't let it go for under 4.

    K43 Qve 45

Prime example...hard to improve on in my opinion.

    K43 Qve 45

Looks very nice. How about a serial number on the stock?

Opinions on this qve45 VOPO K43

I'd place this gun at the low end of the "mostly correct, mis-matched shooter" range. It appears that maybe some sort of repair may have been done to the stock ehere the crossbolt is located...plus whatever may have been modified where the buttplate is...hard to see from the picture...

AC44 Finished receiver Waa 134 Duffel Cut

I am bewildered by these "milled receiver" guns. The conventional wisdom seems to be that such receivers were sub-contracted and produced at St. Etienne. Then why are SO FEW marked with the Waa134? Presence of this mark seems to be the exception, not the rule. Most of the milled receiver...

    1917 DWM Rework

I know this is an old thread, but it piques my curiosity about ex-artillery DWM Lugers. At some point, were all DWM Lugers with the notch at the front of the barrel extension and with 4" barrels, fitted with new rear toggles, new barrels, with these parts re-numbered and often proofed...and by whom?

    K43 qve 45 receiver safe?

Are the bolt parts matching? The bolt carrier itself appears to have been re-numbered.

    K43 qve 45 receiver safe?

My bigger concern would be what's happening at the front of the receiver...namely the locking flaps and the headspace. Lots of folks seem to shy away from shooting all-matching examples of these rifles because they are too valuable...but seem willing to fire mis-matched guns which may, or may...

    K43 qve 45 receiver safe?

I am going to buck the trend here. I really don't see that the damage done to the back of the receiver by a re-enactor firing blanks has any bearing on the safety of firing live rounds, moving forward, so long as the gas system has been tamed.
