    Reproduction scope and rails?

    Not trying to takeover this thread, but is it generally cheaper to have your own built from a mismatch/shooter grade rifle or to purchase some shooter quality sniper already built? I've seen K98 snipers on gunbroker before that were cobbled up pieces that barely sold for 1500.

    It surprises me that the P08 and P38 are so similar in build time and cost. Wasn't the P38 supposed to eliminate cost/labor compared to the complexity of the P08?

    When I bought the rifle I made sure to find one with a good bore/rifling etc as I thought I may want to shoot it in the future... After I purchased it I bought a 250 round can of the Yugoslavian surplus on a chain link for a machine gun. I haven't been brave enough to shoot it yet as the value...
