Bnz41 Navy all matching

I have been offered this real nice all matching Bnz 41 Navy. I was wonding what are they worth now? Thanks for any one,s input. I not sure what they are going for now days. I,m sure at least 4000.00 and above ,For a nice matching one. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks. I have not seen the rifle inperson yet. Just photos. All numbers seem to match what I was sent in photos.

All Navy stuff is tough, but the bnz41 is probably the most common Navy rifle. A lot of them are Walnut too. Prices for everything are stupid at the moment but I don't know if I would give 4k for one.

He wants $ 5000.00 for it . I think that is high for a nice navy. But I have not seen one for sale in a long time. I offered him 3500.00 for it

As everyone else already said, certainly as common as it gets for Navy, and even though one hasn't popped up in awhile, not much else has really either, it just means people are sitting on what they have for the moment. 3500 sounds right to me.
 
It certainly looks nice from the pictures posted, hopefully it checks out in person and we get to see more of it. Also, do we have a research thread dedicated to Navy marked K98ks and the variations present in them? If not, it might make for an interesting project this weekend...
 
Here is the report Guys. The Bnz 41 is All Matching but for the floor Plate and follower which match by it self . Hand guard has a slight crack in it and matches ,But can be glued ,And not noticeable. So now What would you Guys think on a Value Now with mismatch follower and floor plate. Everthing thing else checks out. Cleaning rod is numbered but not to the rifle,But not a big deal.

Not matching and not the same maker either unfortunately, usually guys say a big strike is a bolt or stock issues but I'd say this falls into that category since the entire assembly (spring is not numbered but almost certainly came with the mismatched set) is mismatched. I'm gonna say it probably knocks off a grand at least but I'd wait for more voices.
 
Yeah, that kills some value. I'd say it is definitely a strike. It'd better if they were unnumbered. Not sure on value but not the price you were talking, thats for sure.
 
Yes I agree on that. But lets see who chims in on this. Floor plate has eagle 37 which is Sauer an Fowler. I think a GI did the mismatch. Not the Germans, But I could be wrong. I have seen this before on a nother navy rifle same way. kinda weird If I might say. He did ask me for a new price. He has no clue

That's a whole debate that could be had haha. Personally, I always preferred to have serial numbered parts even if they are mismatched, I typically find the same factory waffenamts and number of digits in the SN so that it looks as it is supposed to, unmarked parts outside armorers replacements just don't look right on stuff that would have been marked. That and regular parts are way easier to find these days, but to each their own.
 
A steyr or radom marked floor plate and follower aren't the hardest to find but, you need to decide what you need to pay for the rifle with these issues.. Overall condition seems above average the stock is super looking ect.. A bolt MM is a 50% hit on value is my rule but the floor plate ect ? or a band ? 20% roughly ?
 
Big money guys won’t even buy a rifle with a mismatched band spring, regular money guys will. So just figure regular money price? Idk what that is anymore.
 
I would hold your cash and be patient for a better rifle. Too many issues with this one for my taste. You will be more happy in the end with a matching rifle with no issues with the wood. Being "rare' also means being original and complete. Just my two cents...
