1943 DOU P block the parts I have are matching

Hello short time lurker here. Bought a 43 DOU P block from a local gun shop. Unfortunately it is duffle cut and I do not have the piece of wood that was cut off. I am also missing any part that would be attached to the missing piece of wood including the upper band. Also had to get a replacement rear guard screw. I was wondering what the community thinks about my find. I have taken off the butt plate and confirmed there is nothing under it. It is not pictured here because it was hard to take off and I neglected to get pictures of it.

Butt load of questions incoming both sorry and thank you. What is the "27" on the bolt? What are the markings found on the bottom of the receiver? I am also looking to have the duffle cut fixed, struggling to find someone who wants to do it, other than other Kar98ks stocks what other mouser stocks my be an okay donor to use? If I do get it fixed what are the parts I would need to buy excluding bayonet and cleaning rod would I need? What type of front band would I need to get? Final question, can some please explain what a "block" is? I've tried looking into them but I still don't understand how they work. Thank you for the help.

Also if you want pictures of something specific I can post them, but don't expect them to be as high quality, I had friend who is an amateur photographer take these pictures

Good score, looks all matching and nice condition. It should be easy to get a donor stock to use the front end.The joint goes under the rear band and should be invisable, many members here would have a doner laminate stock also an unnumbered front band should be easy to find.Check the picture reference here and find a close DOU 43 to see what style of upper band is needed.

Thank you for the advice, I've been looking through the Trader forum for little while and unfortunately haven't had much luck finding one with correct front end design and similar color. I'm just gonna have to be patient for a stock. As for the front band I think I'm good to get a milled one.

Yeah likely the closed style milled.

Bayonet lug is likely unmarked.

I don’t know what the 27 marking is. I’ll have to check and see if my hh blocm has that number, or any number
