Is this worth it?

Came across this & was wondering if it is an accurate price. Looking to get for my 1939 27 ERMA rifle.

No…. Too much money for a mismatched piece IMHO. That’s matching bayonet and scabbard territory

Check bayonetsonline.com. He may have something respectable around your year in that price range of the one above.

This is as typical case of you can't have your cake and eat it too. I was arguing with some idiotic collector the other day and he wanted 250 bucks for a common MG ammo box, I was baffled by all that nonsense. It's common place nowadays.

Yes the piece is ok well used, unfortunally missmatched, 125 bucks is after inflation probably unreal, even yugo reworks or portugal contracts are now in that range, i would think when not sharpened real would be 160/170 range. The bayonet was not refurbished, and the blueing remains looks ok to me, from this few small photos.

On a side note, as an Ebay seller I am always amazed at the lackluster photos other sellers post while demanding above-retail price points. Nothing makes me want to fork over my hard earned cash like seeing a cluttered work space and the seller's body parts in the photograph. The lack of concern for composition makes me wonder how thoroughly they examined the object for damage or other imperfections. I also like checking out the seller's other items, and this seller seems to be all over the place with inventory. Lack of consistency is never a good sign to me. If $275 is your budget you can do much better than this. Take your time, make a few "Saved Searches" on Ebay and keep watch - something better will pop up soon!
