Has anyone recently received a stock from Les? (Fox stocks)

Indeed, but the the G43s needing stocks far far outnumber the number of original stocks (pretty much zero) and bubbas are still fugging them up to this day.
If you can find an original stock. You don't have much choice when the stock is so butchered that it is unusable and unsafe. It is obliviously a repo as the DUV stocks are shaped differently.

Did Michal place the channel for the cleaning rod?

I don't know. My gunsmith had the rifle when I got the stock. I believe it did. I will have to check when I get the rifle.
My stock is at the post office waiting for me. So, 3 weeks from order placement. That's a pretty awesome turn around time.

Well, I'm happy with it for sure. I know it's a repro but it's a good looking repro. Need some minor fitting, but it's nice. So anybody looking for a repro stock and you don't mind it being solid Beach, get a hold of Michal at berghoff 1944.com. Half the price of Murray's and 3 weeks from order to door.

Well, after some stock fitting through drilling, filing, sanding, chiseling and more sanding the cleaning rod nut, barrel band spring and action fit nicely. Photos to follow soon.

Well, here's the finished project. I KNOW,IKNOW. It's a repro stock, but IDC she's beautiful. My holy Grail rifle.

Does this stock use the correct original recoil lug or is it the aftermarket junky one made from a screw bolt? Will the correct one fit this stock? I have an aftermarket stock that looks similiar from Europe that has the horrible screw bolt that will do nothing to hold the receiver in place during recoil.

Ya junky screw type. I have an original I could modify the stock for. Wouldn't be that difficult.

I just received my stock from Leszek, after sitting in customs for a month. Time to cook up a nice finish. Any recommendations? He included some scrap cut so I'll have an idea of something before applying to the whole stock.

I received my stock from Leszek just 2 days ago for my Kar98b after placing my order in February 2023. Action was pretty much drop in save for the the screw for the ejector. The triggerguard was tight but fit well and snug. The only complaint is that the hole for the bayonet lug pin is just ever so slightly off on the right side but I can work with that. What stock finish would you all recommend for a walnut stock? I was thinking raw linseed oil but open to other suggestions. Will post pictures later.

Shameless plug for the best product ive ever used. https://www.thegunstockdoctor.com/ Its all I use on my milsurps now. Ive spent 30+ years playing with linseed oil, beeswax, virgins blood, NOTHING works like Tom's 1/3 mix.
