Should I buy this S/237 K98

Hey all,

Need your advice:
Sorry I always forget to take a picture of the full rifle I can go back and get it if need be. Local shop has a S/237 Code K98 for sale for $1k. Non matching it seems the barrel, the stock and maybe the buttplate matches cant tell. Then the rest (barrel bands, floor plate etc.) is not matching.

Let me know what you think if I should purchase it or hold off.

Hi, it depends on what you’re looking for. With the shellac and number on the buttstock, this is a Yugo or Russian capture, not an « original » rifle.
