Mutt GEW 98 needs dissecting

A friend found this GEW 98 last week and I bought it cheap. Amberg 1917 with receiver, barrel and trigger group matching, stock and bolt mismatched from receiver and themselves. Bore is excellent and the headspace is fine. No import stamps, duffle cut or RC evidence. Rear sight conversion upgrade and that's it for me. I don't see any Depot stamps.
I was going to take it to a swap meet to sell this week. Any idea on fair price? Thanks in advance.

Thanks biggy. Your comment sent me to the basement to research the 98M. And in a past post from 2020,
I saw a picture of the second barrel band on a 98M that reminded me of something on my gun but obscured by rust. I cleaned it up this morning and it looks like a 1935 Depot stamp?
Also, noticed a very tiny mark that appears to be a number 7 on the left top rail edge of the stock.

Does it have a bolt cut-out?

Well, it's not going to the Swap Meet. I want to learn some more about it. Is that receiver serial number 1827 lower case "L"or "f"?

Can you post a picture of the opposite side of the rifle as Gerst has requested? . The stock external numbers don’t match yet the front band does. How about the rear band? Is the stock internally numbered? Buttplate?

Receiver, barrel, trigger guard and front band match #1827. Stock, butt plate, and sling swivel band are matching #1956.
Bolt assembly is #702
Stock internally number 1956 in forend cover.
I appreciate your time guys.

You need to find a proper G98 bolt for this baby and have a nice 98m. Sell or trade the old one here. That’s a great stock!

The stock is almost certainly off a WMO, probably late 1917, - the stock is worth more than the action. Property marked doesn't help a great deal but a rare stock.

If the buttplate matches the stock serial, check the suffix letter at the top of the BP, my bet this is late 1917 WMO, but could be 1918 (some maple stocks in1918 are known); but maple, with this acceptance pattern screams late WMO.

The receiver suffix is F

BTW if you can get the details under the stock (BC & receiver code) for the Amberg study?

The most valuable part of this gun is the stock! I thought the left side looked conspicuous haha. The Kronenol really pools up on maple.
