The piece of R.P. should have unmarked scabbard, anyway here is clearly reblued on both parts also on bayonet and scabbard mostly with could blue, the scabbard is not proper as have lines in hook, so its pre 1939 production. Normally with a P.W.Co R.P. Behorden piece should be nonlined hook on unmarked piece, this could be earlier Behorden Scabbard when the old stamps were not removed.

How do you rate its value in a set like this with a mismatched scabbard? I know they are quite rare.

Not extra high, but i am not oriented in prices of similar pieces in Europe, evidently is the blueing is not period, secondly the press button is not period maybe even the locking lug is a replacement. So the scabbard is too from a other piece not from this, hard to say personally i would looking for other piece probably, max value by reblue and not period parts 150? There are scratches and hits on the PWCO stamp, evidently that the piece got heavy use, same as the pictures here are not usable for determining more.

The earliest of these bayonets are stamped with the small DRP marking and should have the decorative lines to the face of the frog hanging hook. They were also fitted with wood (not phenolic) grip scales. My thoughts only .....
