New Stock Prvi Partizan 7.92x33 Kurz

Or even .270, etc. I'm thinking of once-fired cases that I could pick up for free, after the hunters around here litter the floor with 'em on "sight-in day".

RCBS made a special die for this. I don’t see them for sale anywhere now, here is mine with the number for those who want to search. I made hundreds of Kurtz rounds with the bushels of cases from my MG42.
Save that brass. They won’t be making this stuff forever.
Edit: what I also found was after reloading the necked down 7.92X57 and firing it once. About 30% of the case’s experienced splits in the shoulder area. I probably should have annealed the new cases.

It was easier when Buzz was still running Huntington's, but the other makers should be able to furnish a 7,92x33 trim die on special order. It's a pretty easy die to make.

The guys I build wildcats for have been getting custom dies through Redding for the past few years now.

Redding makes/made a 7.92x33 Trim Die, though it is the old fashioned "file" type.

Hornady is surprisingly good for custom dies as well.

308 brass is quite a bit cheaper than 30-06 these days.

If there was enough interest for brass, I might be conned into setting up my Dillon to run 308 brass to size and trim.

Now you just need to find 7.92 jacketed bullets in 123-125 grain. That wasn’t easy when I was reloading. All you could find was soft points.

Pretty sure I have 8mm bullets that are that light. Kinda wonder if bullet companies will make them again.

Currently out of stock, but they have them regularly. Best regards, JH
