1933 “DR” Banner Mauser

Hey everyone, so I got this rifle a couple years back as a consignment. I don’t know too much about it other than it’s a 1933 and supposedly a “railroad” rifle. Also I heard there’s only 35 of these that still exist but I find that hard to believe. Any more information any of yall could provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yes it is "Deutsche Reichsbahn" railroad. Other than the added sling swivel, it looks okay so far.

Yes! I just updated it with some more pictures.
 
looks like bubba added lower sling swivels. such a shame. the stock is sold walnut so you can plug them.
I wish I knew how! I definitely would do my best to restore it to how it originally looked. I am still grateful that it hasn't been too bubba'd.
