Radom bayonet WaA77

Hello,

I found recently this Radom bayonet, without scabbard.
It seems to be part of the ones that were assembled by the germans in 1941-1942 from the spare parts or rejected parts that were at Radom factory.

No polish army acceptance stamp.
WaA77 stamp.
The locking button has a special shape.

Yes its already a accepted by germans, but i personally dont believe its from 1941/2 timeframe, more real directly done or remained in late 1939, or assembled in early 1940, there is no polish proof or typical 1939 mobilisation date, or polish serial number, so in reality it could be rejected older polish Wz.29 which was deringed and accepted by germans in Radom most real for Wz.29/40 rifles. The scabbard was marked by side lip with E/77 proof. Locking lug has normal shape for late WZ.29.

I read an assembly in 41-42, but it seems more logical in 39-40, similar to G.29/40.

Have you some photos of the scabbard I will have to look for?
 
Its normal polish Wz.29 scabbard only difference is mostly no green paint and E/77 proof, i assume here in forum are some presented.

Polish mobilization bayonet 1939

Visited a nice lady last night. She is selling militaria for her father, and sold me a couple of bayonets. Here is one of them : This is a polish bayonet reworked and used by the germans in Norway during WW2. Both scabbard and blade is stamped WaA77. The frog is a mid/late war for s84/98...
