Hi Bruce, sorry to bother but do you have a clearer image of the blueprints for the stock? It gets a bit hazy in some places and a cleaner image would be a big help.
Either way thanks alot for the post.
Hello,

You can find high resolution blueprints of stock in 8/3307A files.

Kind regards

I know a guy who has 4 versions of blueprints for the K98k, but he is selling them. We can buy them together, dividing the price.
Please send his contact info. I would be interested in seeing what he has and what he wants for them.

He asks 100 usd for one complete version.
Good evening!!!
I would like to clarify 100 USD for all four options with a complete kit for all drawings and assemblies. If so, I would also like to know the resolution of the images and the method of payment you accept.
And also, is it necessary to contact your colleague directly or through you?

If I understand this correctly is it on the K98k?

Hello sir. Sadly, for one version. The blueprints are for the K98k. I can provide you with his contact information, so you can reach out to him privately.
Hello, I want to buy a 98k blueprint. I hope to get his contact information.

All bottom metal has what is called "draft" on the sides. If you have parts to handle in person, you can measure that they are in fact, not parallel walls.
Thanks,Fal. I'm trying to track down some original parts from the correct era to verify the measurements.

Oh, Dzerginski, sorry—this was my mistake for not explaining it clearly. I meant the area marked by the green circle. I'm not sure whether this section is actually trapezoidal, because the few real examples I've seen in my life all seem to have equal width at the top and bottom. But then again, I can't be certain whether those parts were truly original Mauser factory pieces.

I built the model strictly according to the blueprints and as the photo clearly shows this transition.

Wow, you did an excellent job with the drawing! Thank you so much for helping clear up my confusion. The parts I’ve come across all look like the one in the image, and I’m not sure where those reproductions came from—but it doesn’t really matter anymore, because you've already provided the perfect answer.

Thanks again, and much respect to you, Dzerginski.

I am currently trying to model the gun starting from the wooden stock. However, how to start using the blueprints above, are there any tips?
