Nice example of a HT BMJ Scope . Hard scope to find in original condition were something has not been replaced . Generally its the Rear Rings Middle block and locking lever that are replaced because there missing .

Thanks and I have a question about the adjustment ring for the reticle because it is the opposite of the other dialytans I have found and I also have a question about the screw in front of the rear assembly, which is also not found on the others

The saddle with dial has likely been removed at some point and just installed incorrectly locking screw should be facing forward as for screw it is original some BMJ Scopes have this screw on the underside some are on top side like yours .

Thank you for information. Could you please advise me how to turn the saddle with dial?

Unscrew cap on top of dial. Remove screw underneath. Remove dial. Remove 2 screws under dial that hold saddle to tube. Saddle should lift off. Then reassemble.

Thank you very much for the answers. And the last question is about the screw that I noticed was missing, would anyone be willing to measure it and advise in what position it should be screwed in? It is the small screw in the picture that secures the larger one
