These are postwar, obviously using German wartime brass. I had several thousand rounds of this same ammo at one time. Though the "bullet" appears Egyptian, I seem to recall these being Norwegian or some such. I'll see if I still have a box of it Monday. It functions flawlessly through 34's/42's...

These idiots would have flipped when there would be dozens of WW2 German vets (u-boat crewmen, tankers, pilots, etc.) at a show peddling ceramic coffee cups with their wartime pic emblazoned across the mug, signed 8.5x11 signed images, biographies of the war, repro insignia from their squadron...

Kick out all the dealers who sells repros and the shows would be empty.

I always go to the blueprint standard. I'd personally use a German manufactured receiver, made by Mauser Oberndorf. Dave is correct in that the Czech rifle receivers are absolutely top quality, and you wouldn't go wrong by using one. I always go with the original manufacturer on quality hunting...

FYI...germanmilitaria.com has one (damn near identical) for $399, and Bill Shea has one for $450.

Enlisted m38 schiffschen. Standard German army field cap issued throughout the war but replaced by the m43 field cap. Appears to be original due to insignia but more pics would be nice. They range in price (condition matters) from $200-$400 typically.

I could make the machined type of this op-rod. The stamped version is out of the question. If someone is interested pm me. It won't be inexpensive. At least a couple hundred bucks. Emphasis on "at least". Dimensions need to be correct.

Possibly c47 related? Of the era and a military plane used for all sorts of transport including airborne operations. If military related it would be local, as in by unit, but not authorized for wear on a uniform (not that it didn't happen). A pic of the reverse may help some...

Walther is apparent but it may be tough to find info on MO. 41m's in lam are gonna probably be rare compared to the three 359's I know of.

It would be interesting to compare MO and Walther time frames of laminate stocks by serial, for the 41m and 41w. I'd bet there's a connection.

Appears repainted to me. If the dome stamp is original, it is sitting over the current paint job, which would make me think repurposed. I know nothing of the SA, other than they basically ceased to exist in the early 40's. I'd be surprised if they had sway or money to get a bulk of helmets late...
