    German green/tan camos ?

Out of Ludwig Baer's book 1985, The History of the German Steel Helmet 1916-1945. Not that this means anything, as every old book has been shot down in the last twenty years. This has been and always will be on my shelf as a go to. This book was a Christmas gift from my dad in 1989. Plus the...

    DAK Police Cap

More about the buttons. I can't think of any tropical field cap that incorporated buttons from the factory. That said Germans were really good at modifying factory gear, just for appearance. My guess is the cap you saw has gold color pebble buttons and it's probably post war with added insignia...

    A tale of two Rucks

My opinion is you'll find the m34 between $100 and $150 and mountain ruck all over the place going up to $350. 1944 militaria typically has a nice selection of this type of gear for sale in their original section. His prices are realistic as his inventory rotates in short order. Bunker militaria...

    A tale of two Rucks

Both really nice pieces. M31 mountain ruck and m34 pack. The m34 is seen with and without fur. Both of these packs are seen in lots of variation prewar and wartime. Both appear complete and without condition issues. Nice gear!

    M42 SS review

Pretty sure they were priced the same as an original shell with new paint similar to 1944mil or ATF. $400ish

    M42 SS review

germanhelmetsinc has had two of them for sale recently. Like last week. Ken sold them at a reasonable price, and described correctly, and as what they are

    Anyone collect inert German gernades?

They come up for sale on militaria sites regularly, and you'll find lots of info from some of the members here. The price tags of originals have always prevented me from buying one. Ranging from $400-$800. These are as much a minefield as any other German militaria these days. Best of luck.

    WW2 Luftwaffe contract Red 9

I've never seen photo evidence of Luft anyone with a broomhandle. I also have no reason to doubt they would have been issued within the Wehrmacht during wartime. I do however have a pic of a Luft officer in either FJR 2 or 3 with an artillery Luger. Time to dig through some books

    German hat real?

Good reproductions will cost more than that typically.

How did I do with g41w?

I like it! Probably a victim of poor storage post-war but still a complete appears all matching example. I had ac42 1179a that was in very similar condition. Still one of my favs in my collection, plus I didn't mind shooting it.

Why do people think Mkb42 marked mags are rare?

I traded an Mkb42 mag on this forum within the last couple years. Swap for an mp44 mag plus $100 it seems? Maybe$200

German Flare Guns, Flares, and Accessories

You can see a Kampfpistole in action against a Soviet tank in Manner gegen Panzer, appx. 13 minute mark. If you haven't watched this, and your into WW2 German anti tank infantry, it's awesome. One of my favorites.

German Flare Guns, Flares, and Accessories

Pzjgr, that first rig is really nice! I've found the bulk of wartime manufactured flare gun holsters are presstoff

Original or repro wound badge in silver

I'm guessing due to the lack of comment a better pic may be required. Perhaps of the edges? Curiously does it matter anyhow? I've found repro quality badges like this in the $50 to $75 range. Isn't this what it's worth as an original?

    Repro MP-40 Pouches?

Assuming you bought these from Vit-Zemanek? His stuff is really nice and very well made, but he uses lots of Czech webbing and fabric in his reproductions, making them easy to spot.

Expert opinion needed: WWII bring back Luger P08, with documentation

Judging by the inspection papers I'd say they lived in the holster. I'd store them flat as shown, in a box with the pistol and holster. My opinion is this is a unique set, and I wouldn't be concerned about the rework. Though it may not be for Luger collectors, this still has value to collectors...

Real or fake state service flag

I'm stepping out on a thin limb here, but judging the appearance of the materials and construction your flag is original. Take that as an opinion from someone who doesn't collect flags, but I have handled lots of originals of the era. I do know that people who make reproductions will go to the...
