    Well, If it was the totaly reworked rifle (30.06) with all new norwegian army and serial stamps. I wouldt care at all. To me that its not a k98 and their as cheap as dirt here. lol.     I see. Is yours the type that is converted to 30-06 and has all the serial numbers scratched over? Would stripping the stock to bear wood and then a cupple of layers with BLO be the best way to get it back to original?
