Thanks again for all the replies, I ordered one of those bore store cases, Thx for the tip(only 16$). I'm going to follow your guys advice on punching the bore (carefully)! What do you guys think about that crack? Also, I might be way off base, but if the Steyr plant was last to be captured...

Ok! There they are. Let me know if I missed anything. As you can see there is a crack along the right side of the action(bummer)! There are some dings in the stock, but other than that it looks pretty clean. The bore looks dusty, but I don't want to punch it. I just wiped the dust off...

So should I carefully try to take it out and see or leave it alone? Would replacing the screws devalue the gun? I've done some novice gun smithing but I don't want to do anything to the value! What would you guys do? Also, did these normally come with a muzzle cover? Also, It has laminate...

Haha! I hear you! I'm not usually the guy that these things happen to, but it's nice to be the one for once. One thing that's bugging me is the fact that the front action screw is not seated all the way and is marred? It looks like a gorilla took a hammer and tried to seat it! Any ideas?

Thanks for the response! Im not with the rifle at the moment, but I think I have a picture of the floor plate that I can put up. The story on the gun is that I bought it from a guy selling his Uncles guns a few years back and he said tat his Uncle brought it back from Germany after the war...
