Byf45 zf41 KM Sniper? Marksman? New addition 😆 (pic heavy)

Unfortunately bolt doesn’t match the rifle, but matching to itself. Really late Mauser Oberndorf, no rib b block.

Byf45 zf41 KM Sniper? Marksman? New addition 😆 (pic heavy)

Hey guys. Just wanted to share what I recently picked up on auction. For the price I couldn’t pass it up even though it’s a bolt mismatch. Stock was probably cleaned at some point. Mirror bore, mint. Came with a decent sling as well. Tried my best with my iPhone, but my lighting has a lot to be...

Info wanted on 44 BYF 98k

Jeff Walmsley does amazing work. I think you would need a donor stock first though.

Info wanted on 44 BYF 98k

The stock was “sported” and in this case was cut down shorter, front end sanded, takedown discs were removed and “filled” and the sling cutout as well. In other words, this is not the way it left the Mauser Oberndorf factory. It’s done post war by one of its owners who made it into a hunting...

Info wanted on 44 BYF 98k

All-matching metal and you have the matching front band. Nothing faked. Numbers are legit. It’s just been “sported”. If the stock can’t be saved with some donor pieces and fine stock work…. Finding a replacement correct manufacturer “E/135” Mauser Oberndorf stock shouldn’t be too hard. It won’t...

    Looking at a erma 1938

Would have to see better detail of the top bolt root serial and proofing on the bottom of the root…

    1940s Kar98 info needed

Honestly…. Unless you have some nice parts on like a rare stock, it’s probably around $800-$900. Bore condition plays a role as well, at least to me.

    BNZ 43 bolt matching?

Very cool. Don’t see those often at all… but you see I was under the impression that the DDR reworks were generally if not almost exclusively made out of Czech produced k98ks. Maybe that’s why we mostly see them as DOT, SWP and DOU receivers. I’ll be honest and admit I’ve only handled one at a...

    BNZ 43 bolt matching?

Your right. This was a late 44 SS contract originally. Barrel code verifies that. The 43 receiver confused me. Mine is the variation with the FP on the barrel and receiver with serial on the receiver. I swear you could see the outline of a FP outline though… but I’m wrong.

    BNZ 43 bolt matching?

Just curious, is your DDR rework a Czech produced rifle? Import marked? Small serial on left side of its stock, under the siderail?
