    DK Production MP44

That MKb42 is looking amazing though I am a sucker for the dual tone StG as well as the plain jane blued MP44/StG44. Damn this state for banning such beautiful rifles.

    Waffenwerke Oberspree Kornbusch 1915

Damn, that is a stunner of a rifle! That stock has to be one of the nicest walnut Gewehr 98 stocks I've seen, congrats on picking up such a fine WOK Gewehr 98 and to those who helped to bring this one here!

    Walnut BYF 44 c block

I think anyone here would be thrilled to find a byf 44 in walnut that's as nice as yours, that is a seriously sweet rifle. Congrats on picking up a real beauty!

Opinions on a matching BYF k98

It looks like a nice example of a byf 42, even if the buttplate got cleaned. The last thing to check would be the stock serial number on the interior barrel channel. Also, just my experience, but I would disassemble the bolt too as I've had a rifle that was matching minus the firing pin and...

    DK Production MP44

Won't be able to make it to SOS this year but someone better post pics of what DK Production ends up bringing as I'd love to see it!

    K43 Qve 45

Damn, where are these nice Lubeck K43s coming from? That's an excellent rifle, that stock hasn't been hit with sandpaper like so many others have. The current market has slowed and prices have dropped a bit, I agree that ~$4k is probably a fair price for this one. If you do pick it up, I don't...

    DOU45 NLB - 2025 Closet Find

That's a pretty sweet rifle, wish there were more of these closet finds floating around. Congrats on a crisp semi Kriegsmodell!

G98 with ww1 Bring back story

Finding these rifles with WWI bring back provenance is very neat, most rifles of this era have no provenance for how they got back here compared to WWII bring backs. Congrats on a very historical piece and thanks for sharing the story on this one.

    .. me, and G ...

That's an awesome spread of G41(M)s, consider me jealous! I'd love to see a full spread of your G41s and maybe a detailed comparison between the two side by side since it's not common to see them together.

Just came home with a duv44...and she's a pretty one....

Damn, that rifle is beautiful and exactly what anyone would want out of a G43, congrats on picking it up! It being local is even better, I've never seen a truly textbook G43 in person so thanks for sharing this one!

CE 41 2834r *updated, new pics.

These pictures do a great job of showing how nice this rifle really is, honest wear with a nice stock. Nice job on the pics!

That's a sweet rig with an awesome holster to boot! Congrats on a gorgeous pistol!

    1914 Spandau Gew98

That's a wonderful Spandau and a 1914 dated one to boot, congrats on finding a nice old warhorse! I'm curious if there was any sign of rework on this one or if it stayed factory original throughout the war, is there any depot markings on the buttplate?

    Walnut Stock byf 42, 3452ii

I would agree with the others that the handguard is a factory error. That's a gorgeous byf 42, not many around and I love the walnut stock on this one. Would love to find one like it for my own collection, congrats on a wonderful '42!

    Safe to shoot?

Is the 1940 Greek ammo PCH? If so, it is certainly corrosive, make sure to clean it well after shooting it. Almost all 8x57 surplus ammo used corrosive primers, the only surplus ammo that used non-corrosive primers is the Portuguese 8x57 ball ammo and late war German ammo using Zdh30/40 primers.

What a beauty! Can't wait to eventually get one of these!

Best Place To Get Non Corrosive 8mm Mauser?

Your options for non-corrosive are either PPU, S&B, winning big on Portuguese surplus, chancing original German steel case with Zdh30/40 primers, or reloading your own. I can find soft point S&B 8x57 on ammoseek for about 1.05cpr for a 400rd case though. There's still a large amount of corrosive...

    Latest Acquisition

That's a beauty! Nice byf 42s (or any 1942s really) are uncommon and it's always nice to see one that survived in this shape. Congrats on a nice one!

    Kar98 1917

This one definitely drew the short straw for storage conditions. From what I can tell, it's a very late 1917 Erfurt Kar98a judging by the tt suffix on the serial number as vv was the highest block for 1917 from what I remember. Shame about the missing bolt and hand guard on this one but I'd be...

    Bcd 42

Finding anything 1942 dated and matching is difficult enough, finding one in this condition is even harder given how many went to the Ostfront and never returned. Congrats on a stunning rifle! If you could take some more detailed pics of all the numbered parts, I think this would be worthy of...
