You did sell it in the state it that is in as how that’s how I received it. You posted one photo as a matching example and the next in a sporterized condition

How’s it’s pictured in this this is how I received it but how did it go from previous to current? Why take a matching correct rifle and do this.

I also contacted Caesar1 who initially messaged me back saying when and I sent the link to his post and haven’t heard anything back

I contacted the shop I bought it from and he told me he purchased the gun along with a few others as a collection buy from the previous owners wife. The man passed away and the wife sold the collection.

I knew the floor plate wasn’t matching but I assumed the stock was original

I thought a lot of svw parts were unmarked? I couldn’t find a new stock and the right unfinished parts? If someone used the right parts on another rifle finding them would be very unlikely

Any advice on what I can do to restore this rifle to its glory? It’s still a piece of history and I’d like to fix it

The person who I bought this from has sold me multiple things and the other k98 I bought from them is matching so it wouldn’t have been them. They own a shop and it must’ve been sold to the shop then I bought it

Unfortunately part of learning I guess was the first k98k I bought

I bought it from a shop I’d prefer to not put anyone on blast as they could’ve received it that way
