I have been looking to add a K98 to the collection but have not had much louck finding anything local . The prices on the auction sights are all over the place and being new to K98's I really didn't want to sink a fortune in a shooter grade rifle . I was at my LGS today and he had a AR code...

Receiver diameter is approximately 1.125 and the barrel is approx. .900 where it meets the receiver : Hope this helps

Got a few dimensions that you guys asked for - maybe this will narrow things down some ! The bolt appears to be right at .700

Very nice rifle - thanks for sharing!! Yours appears to be a KKW as I do believe mine is a DSM but not marked as such . It does have a S/N on the left side of the barrel but not anywhere else . A bit confusing but it was cheap and shoots good . It will fill the void till something better comes...

Hi Gents I recently picked up a BSW on a impulse buy - nothing special - but she is a great shooter ! My question is - most of the logos on the receiver are stamped BSW over Suhl . Mine only has the BSW but not the Suhl marking . Is this common ? Thanks in advance !
