Looking at a G33/40 Rod. It is 11" (very close at least) and has the beveled end. Shouldn't the threaded end finish at a fine point? Does this look legit?

I've been searching for examples of a proper font/size for G33/40 serial #'s on bolt handles. Not much out there....a few picture example discussions on old GB posts...the pictures are no longer available. Looking at the serial number stamped into the handle of a DOT 42 G33/40 with a "closed"...

Picked this up a while ago. I hope it's a legit depot rifle. Everything looks to match (except handguard). Stock # matches inside channel. If it's not legit, I still love it! more pics to come...
