Found a NOS byf44 in g block laminate not duffle cut. Unnumbered stamped/welded rear band and unnumbered bolt release? I could see this in L block but g? Does this sound right?

Not sure what I've got here. Cut like typical 84/98 but no marks. 883 WaA only plus serial on guard, one WaA88 maybe. Bluing on blade is almost purple.

Without reloading, what factory ammunition is considered most appropriate for a G88/98? I've been told that S/B and Prvi both make a .318 NON rimmed js. I can't find it anywhere. Any input is greatly appreciated.
