    Armorers’ parts

Going on a limb here, but here are photos I took a few years ago in Germany at a Bundeswehr museum. I think it is an armorer's kit but experts feel free to correct me. I imagine this piece of kit is worth a very pretty penny. Enjoy the photos.

1937 Czech, parts pig or postwar build?

Bolt looks to be FN. 9226, all numbers match except the blank extractor. Unfortunately it has been polished to a high luster.

1937 Czech, parts pig or postwar build?

Here are some rear sight photos. Looks scrubbed, I started to laugh when I looked at the front sight. Notice how crooked it is. The bore is actually great on this. I was nailing 6 in gongs easily at 200 meters with some old yugo ball. The front sight has the number "4" stamped. But rear assy is...

1937 Czech, parts pig or postwar build?

Yugo was the first thing to come to mind with the barrel, but Brazilian makes more sense as I cannot deciper the little if any markings at all. Here are photos of the rear sight. Are there any...

1937 Czech, parts pig or postwar build?

Good evening gents. I bought this as a shooter expecting to learn more from part markings. The receiver is from a VZ24, the stock, hardware etc are German K98, I think the trigger housing is a Kar98b, and the barrel is unknown as I do not recognize the stamps. Also it has an FN matching bolt but...

    First P.38, import marked AC44

Thanks mrfarb. That explains a lot. I am having trouble with uploading the second import mark photo right now, but as the photo depicts it has the CAI import mark on the right side of the frame. On the bottom of the frame where the magazine well it also has a coles dist. import mark too.

    First P.38, import marked AC44

Hello gents, I picked up this P.38 a few weeks ago at a local gunshow. It isn't particularly special as it seems to be double import marked and has mismatched grips, but it seemed like a decent price at $500 with one correct mag and 4 commercial mags. I always wanted to have one to shoot. I...
