I'd love to one day find a 45 Mauser in bring back condition. Closest I came was a heavily chopped bnz45 that I traded off a few years ago.

Just noticed my stock proof looks like it was stamped by Godzilla. No doubts the stock was never sanded!
Not mine (yet), came into my shop about a year ago. All matching, beautiful bore. Buuuut, was missing the buttplate and band spring. Why? No idea. Anyway, it was kept in a damp basement. And it shows.

Hambone - does your bayonet have 45 (or anything) stamped on the spine? I'm interested to see (as mine does), but I've not observed any other reports of 45 (or any other marks) on the spine of other Tr Weyersburg bayonets.
