    Steyr quality

Here are some pics of a sporterized T-block Steyr I had briefly back in 2007. I'm guessing it was made in the last few weeks of the war.

Yeah, once I found out his book was strewn with errors I relegated it to the circular file. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    My latest find.

I'd love to one day find a 45 Mauser in bring back condition. Closest I came was a heavily chopped bnz45 that I traded off a few years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Volume II Update 3-25-1017

Even if the price was $250 for the set I would have no issue with it. The amount of information is worth so much more than that.

Yep, needs some Kroil, one way or the other!

    BYF 1943 K98 Question

Looks like yours turned out pretty well. I may borrow the "Kroil in a pipe" method. Just noticed my stock proof looks like it was stamped by Godzilla. No doubts the stock was never sanded!

    BYF 1943 K98 Question

Not mine (yet), came into my shop about a year ago. All matching, beautiful bore. Buuuut, was missing the buttplate and band spring. Why? No idea. Anyway, it was kept in a damp basement. And it shows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Tr / crs 41 Weyersberg

If it is the date, I honestly would be surprised. Here is my thread started many years ago: http://www.k98kforum.com/showthread.php?872-Unusual-45-dated-K98-Bayonet

    Tr / crs 41 Weyersberg

Hambone - does your bayonet have 45 (or anything) stamped on the spine? I'm interested to see (as mine does), but I've not observed any other reports of 45 (or any other marks) on the spine of other Tr Weyersburg bayonets.
