This popped up on Werhmacht Awards.

What is going on with ATF

I wish they would amend the background process to exempt people who hold national security clearances. If the NFA background check process is anything like what many of us had/have to go through to get our clearances, I don't see why they have to do it again and again and again. Yes. I know...

    Bringback MP40 + MP44

The ad says CLICK HERE FOR "HOW TO ACQUIRE AN NFA WEAPON !!. Where does it say CLICK HERE FOR "HOW TO ACQUIRE $55,000 TO PURCHASE IT"?

    Time Machine MP-44 ad

...prototype of Russia's newest 1954 "Automat"... One of those gun issues (maybe 1955) actually has an article on the AK47.

    MP44 receiver sheet metal?

That's what I meant, thanks for correcting. Too bad for the strict export laws Germany has.

    MP44 receiver sheet metal?

This is what I don't understand. We can import parts for AK and other rifles. We can even import AK Polish receiver flats and then "roll them ourselves" (I believe Childers offers these). Why can't we import SSD receiver flats and parts and build them here (in the US)? The only hitch I can see...

    MP44 receiver sheet metal?

I've built, (excuse me assembled) a few AK rifles but those were from Childers or Nodak receivers all ready to go. Wouldn't one need some machining know how and equipment to as you say "roll their own"?

    MP44 receiver sheet metal?

How hard would it be to make a semi-only receiver? It would be nice if somebody could make these stateside and import the BD43/BD44 as parts. I guess the barrel would also have to be produced stateside as well.

    First model FG42 in action

I think that's the case for many MG bring backs that never got registered in the 1968 amnesty.

    Stg.45 - Springfield Armory

I got to see that StG45 in person when I visited the museum in 2008. The museum was empty and I asked the guy at the desk about it and next thing I know, he's taking me to this magic room filled with tons of weapons! Unfortunately I could not hold it.

    ZG 1229 Vampir somewhere?

The Ordnance museum at Aberdeen never had one on display (they did have the early US IR scope though). I even talked about the ZG1229 to the curator of the museum at the time, Dr. Atwater, and he never heard of it. Maybe they do have one stored away somewhere. It's too bad the French guy...
