I think Jack that some 43's laying on your blanket would bring out the fine texture of the fabric.

The only downside to such a great book is the wait for the next book. The wait is going to be downright painfull!

    A double turd alert called

Both give me a bad first impression, Humped is the word I'm looking for. Now the 604066 is not at a unreal price as a put together sniper. I am interested in what others find as the biggest giveaway. I question the runes but would like another opinion. P/S Col, still luv my byf 44!

How many copies were printed? I was also told by a large book dealer this weekend that this book will surive at least 100 years longer than if you would have been printed in China. Your printers paper is of higher quality with less acid content. There you have it, our great great great...

    44 date bayos

I see in the pics there is a 44 asw with riveted grips. My 44 asw also has riveted grips, was this common to asw 44 bayonets? Did asw also use screws for the grips? Did any other maker use rivets?

    byf 44 Kriegs, Correct?

This is a stock with hardware only, no action with it. I purchased it to have a stock in case I needed one to restore a sporter. The stock has no outside marks of any kind and the metal is free from Wa's also. So I guess I need to find a Czech action for it!

    byf 44 Kriegs, Correct?

To add, I pulled out a laminated stock to compare, this stock falls between semi and full Kriegs. The stock has no bolt takedown disc and has the takedown hole in the buttplate, the stock has a bayonet lug with a band spring slot but no rod nut and has never been drilled for a rod. No numbers in...

    byf 44 Kriegs, Correct?

Two byf 44's one is a Kriegs model serial # 73xxx L block the other is a 79xxx L block Semi Kriegs. All parts and stocks are correct. As I read the book it is possible for both to be correct. What is your take? Or did the guns get switched into the wrong stocks as the stocks are not numbered?

I have a "gcb" mag that also has a blued finish. Marked also on the left side "K43" and (2) Waa's one on the lower middle and one on upper towards the front. Looks to be 3 letters and the # 892.
