.. opportunity only knocks once. so;;;... like in the good old days when i was younger, i took a road trip. friday night from northern kentucky to tulsa is 750 miles,, one way..!!. at the very last minute, my wife tried that trick of being afraid while i was gone,,.. that does not work...

.. while i was set-up at the weekend ogca show;.. this item was next to me, which i had to stare at for two days. so;.. after some negotiations, it came home with me. i like it. when ever i acquire a rifle or other items,.. i always completely dis-assemble & clean so i can see what is inside...

... i buy new gun cases on ebay. then ship them empty in plain brown box with only license copy & cashiers check inside to the person who is sending a rifle to me. . signature required. no outside markings & you do not tell the mailman anything. the only question the mailman can ask is battery...

... i had 4 or 5 people ask me about the dimensions of the forward op-rod on the g41m rifles. i only had one and it was very popular & gone fast. i am not a machinist, so my measurements are rather rudimentary. several said they could try to make one if i could get some close...

.. these magazines and muzzle were on the same corner table next to the vg1-5 that went from 38 to forty from thursday to friday..........

.. i have seen several posts of forum members looking for g41 parts. i may have some of those 'w' & 'm' items;.. but i have to wait till after the SOS. some people have contacted me & i have to let them look first. so anyway;;..'w' parts are getting rough to find sometimes, and 'm's almost...

... hey;.. original small parts make those g41's just better..... now; .the days of cheap 1500 dollar junky parts rifles are long gone. ;.. just finding one is an adventure & the prices are ridiculous! i keep pluggin' away & get lucky every once in a while. a good rifle with some nice parts...

....... ,,, while walking around at the tulsa show, this item caught my eye. an italian folding bayonet. made for the italian m-38 carbine. in pretty good shape along with the scabbard. ...........

... a 30 degree curved barrel for the mp-44. .. the big end inside dia, is 10mm. then;... after about 12mm into the barrel, it is down to 8mm dia. and tapered to rifling the rest of the way out. .... along with a vent hole. there are no stamps or markings. pretty neat.

.. i picked this up at the ogca show a few weeks ago. &, have shown it to a few collectors. in pretty good shape;.. i like it & the belt to which it was attached ........

.. the latest gun in my collection. i use for concealed carry. takes the place of the beretta 84 that i normally used. .... taurus tx22 compact with optics. also threaded for a suppressor. and with the forgetec owb holster.
