New Posts button question.

Hi admins,
What is the logic behind the New Posts button? (Right under Forum)
It seems sporadic with new posts popping in and out when I refresh. Shouldn't it show today's posts and replies?

I love this forum and don't want to miss anything new and going forum by forum would take a long time.

The "New Posts" will show all the new activity since you last visited the forum or refreshed the page. You can also go under quick links and the first option is "today's posts". That will show you everything posted today. I personally hit the new posts option whenever I visit because it shows all posts across all forums since the last time I looked. If I am trying to find something I saw earlier, I head on over to the "todays posts" and it will generally be there.
