1875-1876 ÖWG Jägerbüchse

Hello everyone, I got this 1871 Jägerbüchse by ÖWG three years ago from a friend. It makes a fine addition to the collection. 1876•1875 5386 J(B. Mod.71) unit: 3.A.L.3.111. Sadly rifle is not all matching. I would say the rifles about 50% matching but that is okay with me.
At one point somebody painted in all of the major proof marks on the rifle but even that has slowly faded away. I had a little bit of downtime today. So I took apart jeager in the photos. The rifle is in good condition overall. The stock has seen somewhere in use but the proof marks are still pretty clear. Overall I'm still happy I made this purchase and I hope you enjoy.

Yeah, the 71 pattern sight is an old holdover from the later style Dreyse sights.

From 1877 manual the unit should be Fuss Artillerie Regiment nr.3, Landwehr companie nr.3, waffe nr.111.
