I would agree i liked it at first with a reblue job but when i saw no french sling conversion on stock and the cocking piece serial placement incorrectly numbered and no WaA or E/proof or subcontractor i got a little worried (see rest of rifle subcontracted everything!!). also about the cocking piece edges are a little sharp should have a nice radius and looked scrubbed and re-numbered also looks to clean no lathe markings it has polish left to right or surface grinding marks. then there is the E655 extractor collar. might be a replaced bolt body and cocking piece with original shroud and safety but collector enchanced parts to make it matching. i need more info but the buttplate number does look a little odd, but i need more info on that one. my biggest no go with out the stock converted for french i am sckeptical as i have yet to see a french used rifle with a stock with out the conversion. i did also notice the bolt root frech type serialing which made me look deeper. i also noticed it looks like a vet name inscribed would be the first French issued and used 1945-46 NON import VET bring back to me. all this means to me force matching parts by post war person seeking more money.
