A good friend was following up on this and I advised him that the rifle was bad.
Simply stated, its a restoration. There have been a few sporterized 'l' block Zf41 rifles that have sold on Proxibid
in the last year and it would not surprise me if this is one of them
I quote the listing " The rifle is mounted with the correct unmarked laminated pistol grip stock and handguard with a cupped buttplate."
The stock is not correct and is a Czech postwar manufactured semi-kriegsmodell variant likely not drilled for a cleaning rod.
I am sure if it could mount one, then it would be present.
The routing for the mount is close but just off spec and the recoil lug is wrong for Mauser Oberndorf. Finally, no WaA135 stamped on the stock.
