BCD 4 Enlarged Trigger Guard Question

This bcd 4 was produced in 1945 at the very end of the production as one of the last rifles produced. It has an enlarged trigger guard made by a contractor but I have never seen another like it. Has anyone seen another one?

trigger guard

Probably should have posted this in the K98K section but no problem.
Likely that trigger guard took a hit and was deformed as the back radius is
distorted. 'qnw' is a common contractor for TG assy. used in Gustloff
assembled rifles. The actual maker designated by the qnw code remains
unknown.

I agree, probably damaged and repaired- I've seen others with similar odd shaped openings, even had a byf45 once like that.
