Book collections

I live in Italy I had to buy everything in America. Let's say these manuals cost but they are really fantastic I compare them to the Bible.🤣

Well done Federico! Spielauer's book is now very difficult to get and I bought mine from him when he was still here on earf (earth).

Here's a pine plywood (equivalent of 12 shelves with books back to back and unseen on the other side matching glass doors) bookcase I built to house the books acquired during the course of my research. It's packed on the top shelf now. The light pine bookcase sits atop of twelve other shelves (dark stained pine) which and the top unitizes them. Most of these are WW II material (ground forces) and doesn't include books on naval ships/histories or aeroplanes. Four & 1/2 shelves are books by tedeschi, 2 1/2 are UK/Commonwealth, two are Soviets and twelve contain material by American GIs/Marines. There are some "modern" stuff (Korea, Viet Nam) too.

The gun books are in other bookcases and have everything from flintlocks to modern things.

Sadly, I've only two books which give a first hand account by an Italian (one when he was in Russia & the second in Italy). Are there a lot of books by Italiano soldati there in Italy?

Within the past two years I learned that Italy had only a handful of scoped rifles but they were issued to the Border Guards and never left Italy.

Hello beautiful collection, the material I have in the photo if you notice it only talks about k98 and its variants and I wanted to research only that genre. It took me about a year to gather everything but I succeeded and I think I'm not missing anything. For Spielauer's book I have to say thank you to a friend/teacher who is teaching me so much about k98.
