CE43 finished by Mauser-Oberndorf?

I got an Iraqi used CE43 in the other day, and right off I noted that the firing proofs on the left side of the receiver were the big version, not the small ones used by JP Sauer. Upon closer inspection, the final acceptance proof is E/135 and the barrel is an unnumbered byf barrel. The WaA on the right side of the receiver is E/280 though. I was never aware that JP Sauer supplied partially finished receivers to MO.

Ah, ok! I didn't even think to check the Kriegsmodell book, anything in there about it?

A bit early for Kriegsmodell. You do see odd receivers show up in late 43 at Mauser though. Why not post the serial so we can see where it falls in the year?

The serial is 339 with no suffix.
