I know it will be a full Kriegsmodell type band assembly and no bayo lug - but, would it possibly have a take down disc still or not at all? It is an a block rifle.
For late war it is probably best to post pictures and we'll sort it out from there. Focus on stock markings. If it is legitimate it is likely "C" marked on the keel with maybe an "f" on the left side of the recoil lug.
The rifle came in an Israeli stock of all things, but is all correct parts phosphate finish with a few blued parts and matching #s. So basically I am looking for a correct stock to put it in. I have had phosphate barrel bands for a long time and also correct butt plate if I need them for a stripped stock. I have it in a semi krieg right now with no take down disc but with band spring and lug. So, just wondering what the correct features would be for this rifle's stock.
Depends on how late I believe. The takedown disc was deleted at the end. The last full KM stock I had I sold to Mauserguy85. It was 135 marked but an RC with once stamped light numbers to steam out. I also have one of those Israeli stocks on my dot 44.
It could be one of three configurations, KM, semi KM w/o take down disc and also a full configuration stock, but like DK says only if the correct markings are present, it would also need an asterisk on the heel I believe.
