1) Keep it pointed in a safe direction and open the bolt to make sure it's empty first. Finger off the trigger and lift the bolt to inspect.
2) While the bolt is open, pull it to the rear and with the left hand, move the ejector on the left side of the receiver which also serves as a bolt stop. This allows you to remove the bolt. Hey, it's just like the Mauser 98k!
3) Find a proper fitting screwdriver for the trigger guard and if you don't have one, file/grind one down to it fits perfectly. Two screws if I'm guessing correctly. Removing them and any barrel band (but it's like a sporter so there probably isn't a barrel band, right?) will allow you to separate the stock from the action.
