From the looks of it I think it’s pretty good. I don’t see any import marks on it. It’s from the ee block so there is no cleaning rod but the bayonet lug still exists.
You're going to need to resize it.The firing pin is also matching but it’s for some reason not letting me upload the photo.

DOU 44 welded H band variant #1332 e
Got this from another forum member back in December of 2024. Really neat to have a high condition DOU 44 compared to my DOU 44 b block which shows heavy use. The right side of the butt stock appears to have some very old penciled info that I cannot decipher (possibly a date) I'm really happy to...www.k98kforum.com
Interesting! I was never aware they went to dot as well, very neat! As for tracking, this was compiled data that Stephan98K had and what's also available in volume 2B. That's how I found out that there are currently 8 rifles known to exist with my example included in that known 8. Just counted all the rifles that were reported with a welded H bandThat is a beautiful rifle!!
